I paint the world as I see it. I strive to draw attention to the fleeting natural beauty of the vanishing American Landscape and waterways due to over development and pollution. I paint these works in multiple layers applying color and texture. I then sand, strip and scrape the painting until it is abstracted, giving the viewer the mystical and haunting beauty found in nature.
